Solidarity Tech integration

You can now connect Solidarity Tech to Daisychain from Settings โ†’ Integrations by pasting your API key. Daisychain imports your Solidarity Tech users as people and keeps them in sync every hour.

Account admins can connect Solidarity Tech under Settings โ†’ Integrations by pasting a Solidarity Tech API key. We check the key when you save it, then import your Solidarity Tech users as people. After that, Daisychain picks up users created or updated in Solidarity Tech every hour. The integration currently syncs users. It doesn't import events.

Each person is linked to their Solidarity Tech user ID, so CSV imports can match people on it.

Text and email subscriptions follow each user's text and email permissions in Solidarity Tech. When a permission is granted, we subscribe the person on that channel only if they have no subscription history there and the number isn't on your opt-out list. Solidarity Tech keeps one text permission and one email permission per person. When one of those permissions is withdrawn, we opt the person out on every phone number or email address we have for them. Someone who has opted out, in Daisychain or through a withdrawn permission, is never re-subscribed by the sync, even if the permission comes back.

You can also send opt-outs from Daisychain back to Solidarity Tech. Turn on "Sync SMS opt-outs" or "Sync email unsubscribes" on the integration's settings page. Both are off by default. When they're on, an opt-out or unsubscribe in Daisychain turns off the matching permission on the person's Solidarity Tech user.

If the API key stops working, we disable the integration, as we do for our other integrations.
