Rule-based transitions in flows

Intelligence node transitions can now be rule-based: a branch is taken when the contact matches a people filter, built with the same filters as the People list, with no AI involved.

Each branch out of an intelligence node can now be set up in one of two ways: "The contact matches a rule" or "The AI judges a prompt met". A rule uses the same filter builder as the People list, so you can route someone by a tag, a custom field, a pathway stage, and more. For example, you can route a contact once an automation has tagged them.

Rules are checked against the contact's current information each time they send a message. Transitions are checked in priority order, and the first one that matches is taken.

Transitions now open in a panel docked beside the flow canvas instead of a modal, so you can keep the canvas in view while you edit. The transition you're editing is highlighted on the canvas, and you can click another transition to switch to it.
