Share with a Friend campaigns

We've added a Share with a Friend campaign goal. Each recipient gets a personal link to a page that hands your message to their phone's share sheet, so they can forward it to a friend from their own number.

Share with a Friend is a new campaign goal for relational programs. You write a share message, and the campaign text includes a personal {{ share_url }} link for each recipient.

When someone opens their link, they see the message personalized for them and a Share button. On most phones, tapping Share opens the phone's share sheet. The friend's number never reaches Daisychain.

The share message can carry a charm, a photo, or a video along with the text. Each completed share is recorded as a share action for the person who shared it. Shares count as conversions in the campaign report and the Converted filters, and can trigger automations. This goal requires URL shortening to be turned on for the account.
